Old photograph from 1900 of a stagecoach and horses from the Western Railway Company.

A beautiful and very old photograph depicting a stagecoach and an omnibus with their horses, the omnibus bears the marking "Western Railway Company". It was part of a collection of about fifteen old photos representing various scenes with the common theme of one or more horses (if you have any information, I would be interested!). The mention of "Western Railway Company" suggests it dates from between the late 1800s and the early 1900s, as this company was bought by the state in 1908. It is glued onto a soft cardboard backing, the reverse of which has multiple annotations that are not always legible (at least not to me) in pencil, including the words "stagecoach", "40-seat omnibus", "Rome depot", and what seems to be a signature. This photo is in fair condition, with no major stains, but it obviously shows its age of over a hundred years, presenting small stains and discolorations. The cardboard frame measures 27 cm by 21 cm and the photo itself is 17 cm by 12 cm. It will be sent well protected against creases as well as moisture.
