Hand-painted Royal Delft blue-and-white table lamps with Chinoiserie birds and florals, fitted with new pistachio green silk shades and professionally rewired with fabric-wrapped cords. Royal Delft, established in 1653, remains the sole surviving ceramics manufactory among the 32 that flourished in Delft during the Dutch Golden Age. Drawing inspiration from Chinese porcelain of the Ming and K'ang Hsi dynasties, their artisans create pieces of enduring beauty and collectible significance. Each vase bears the De Porceleyne Fles mark on the underfoot alongside dates and artisan signatures. Each lamp was created without harming the original vases in any way. A rare opportunity to acquire a documented pair of authentic vintage Royal Delft vases transformed into functional lighting, offering both historic provenance and practical elegance for traditional, coastal, or globally-inspired interiors. ⸻ About Amitābha Studio: Amitābha Studio is a design atelier dedicated to transforming historic ceramics into one-of-a-kind lighting objects. Each lamp is crafted with deep reverence for the original form, using non-invasive methods that preserve the integrity of every antique or vintage vase. We pair these bases with bespoke lampshades—often made from luxurious textiles such as vintage sari silks or fine European fabrics—and finish each piece with carefully selected cords, fittings, and handmade brass elements. Our work is guided by a commitment to sustainability, cultural heritage, and timeless design.
