Outstanding pair of “Coronado” armchairs, an iconic design by Tobia Scarpa for C& B Italia (Cassina e Businelli, later renamed B& B) in the 1960s (this lot has been produced in the early 1970s). The Coronado model represents one of the most recognizable and celebrated creations of Italian mid-century design, embodying Tobia Scarpa’s refined balance between comfort, sculptural form, and technological innovation. These armchairs are upholstered in their original light brown leather, which has been carefully cleaned and nourished with professional products.
