Adjustable Brocot pendulum clock with mercury pendulum, in perfect working condition, accompanied by two cassolette (trinket dishes), all made of black Belgian marble with green breccia marble inlays. Period: 19th century. The movement is complete, in perfect working order and comes with its original key as well as its pendulum. The clock features a beautiful white enamel dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by a gilded bronze frieze. A highly sought-after feature by collectors: a mechanism with a visible escapement (Brocot) on the front. The pendulum is visible through the lower glass. It is a precious family heirloom, passed down from generation to generation. It originally belonged to "Aunt Fifine" (the cousin of the current owner's great-grandfather).
