Religious tableau of Notre Dame de Fournet

Magnificent representation of Notre-Dame du Fournet in Haute-Loire, showing the crowned Virgin holding the royal sceptre and the Child Jesus. The subject is framed by finely detailed neo-Gothic architectural decor. This is an old lithograph from the late 19th century. Superb moulded solid wood frame in an oblong shape typical of the religious folk art of that time. The paper shows an authentic patina and some signs of age that highlight its antique character. The frame is in excellent condition, with sound wood. A rare piece of regional devotion to find in this format and with this type of frame. Dimensions: Width: 58 cm Height: 84 cm.
