Violet blown glass vase, with varying thicknesses of glass creating a beautiful play of lines. The vase is in excellent condition with only a few light signs of use. Origin: Netherlands, 1932. Material: glass. Willem Jacob Rozendaal (1899–1971) was a Dutch designer and graphic artist, active in Maastricht during the 1920s-30s, where he worked for Kristalunie Maastricht. His creations, including glass and ceramics, are representative of Dutch Art Deco and interwar design. Later, he became a professor at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
