Upholstered canapé with a light hardwood frame, Art Deco style.

We are delighted to offer for sale this charming two-seater sofa in Art Deco style, handmade in England, which is part of a suite. It is a very aesthetically pleasing piece, well-crafted and comfortable, with cushions lightly filled with fibres for good seating. You have two scatter cushions and two long cushions. The frame is made of lightweight solid mahogany, very light and durable, with elegantly hand-turned legs securely fixed to the structure, finished with brass castors. The wood has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, and the upholstery fabric shows no notable defects, apart from slight discolouration on one of the reversible cushions. The dimensions are: height 82 cm, seat height 52.5 cm, width 167.5 cm, depth 87 cm (frame only) plus 6 cm for the cushion overhang. Please note that vintage and original leather pieces naturally exhibit a patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. Regular waxing is recommended to preserve moisture, and prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided to prevent drying and discolouration.
