Louis XVI chest of drawers, mahogany, late 18th century, early 19th century

Louis XVI chest of drawers, late 18th-early 19th century, mahogany veneer and brass, white marble top. Opening fronts of 3 drawers with their original bronzes and brass rods, paneled sides, rounded fluted uprights on spindle feet. It passed through our workshop where we followed it up, delicately cleaned it, and treated it preventively with organic products. We redid a patina with homemade hot wax to stimulate the pigments of the wood and even out its beautiful patina of time. It is in good condition, note just the left side panel slightly warped (the wood supporting the veneer having worked) and slight scratches on the marble and brown stains.
