Swivel stool Thonet late 19th century

Austrian Swivel Stool by Michael Thonet, late 19th century, around 1900. It was caned, but as often happens, the caning was torn and loose. Since the cost of caning is almost as expensive as the price of the stool and caning remains a fragile covering, I made a wooden cushion with padding covered in faux leather. You can always redo the caning; you just need to remove the cushion. Originally, it was mahogany in colour, but over time the wood had turned brown and reddish in places. I scraped it, stained it, and waxed it in mahogany to restore it as closely as possible to its original colour. After more than a century of use, it needed a refresh. It is signed Thonet under the seat and numbered 90 in relief on a metal part (see photos). In good condition except for signs of wear from use and time (see photos).
