Patate Modular Sofa by Airborne 1960s

Modular 'patate' sofa from airborne france. The company designed the sofa in 1969, which was met with great commercial success; at its peak it produced 2000 per week. Nevertheless, the design is difficult to find nowadays. This three-seater sofa was reupholstered by the previous owner with a thin brown fabric, which also revealed the original plastic 'airborne' plate under the upholstery in the foot. The set is in very good vintage condition. Dimensions per element: 90 X 80 X 70 cm. Corner element dimensions: 90 X 90 X 70 cm.
