Stylised head in patinated ochre terracotta on a dark wood base.

Small contemporary sculpture representing a stylised head with a simplified face, crafted in orange-ochre terracotta, enhanced with a discreet matte patina. This finish softens the reliefs while maintaining the artisanal quality of the material. The grooves on the top of the skull suggest hair, while the irregular summit evokes a fragment of an ancient effigy. The head is mounted on a brass rod, fixed to a turned dark wood base, which contrasts elegantly with the warm hue of the terracotta. Dimensions: 17 cm high (including the base), 7 cm for the head alone. Overall good condition with minor irregularities related to the modelling. Unsigned piece, probably unique or from a very limited series.
