Mid-century floor lamp by the Swiss manufacturer Wohnbedarf AG based on a design by Dieter Schulz from the late 1950s. Here in a particularly rare brass version. An underrated design classic. Due to its low height, this floor lamp is a functional and understated design. The perfect reading light next to an armchair or sofa. The lamp head has an elegantly curved projector shape. It is connected to the stem by a joint and can be tilted. The position is secured with a large screw with a lens-shaped head. The slender stem ends in a heavy base designed as a simple hemisphere. The switch is located at the back of the lamp head. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear on the shade. The brass surface has been polished to a high shine by a craftsman, and the electrical system has been completely renewed.
