Italian Adjustable Floor Lamp in Pencil Reed Rattan Bamboo and Brass, 1970s

Here we have a lovely rattan and bamboo split or pencil reed floor lamp with brass. The combination of rattan and brass was made popular by Gabriella Crespi in the 1960s. These lamps are generally always attributed to Italy 1970s - 1980s ( and not by Crespi needless to say ). The brass is in a lovely patinated condition. The lamp is adjustable as can be seen in the pics, the rod can be lowered and extended.The shade can be adjusted as well and has a diameter of 38 cm. The adjustable rod is 85 cm and including the shade 105 cm.
