Vintage design. Rare mid-century floor lamp by Valenti. This design is often attributed to the French designer Jacques Adnet, but that is not correct. An imposing design in shiny brass. The design is based on the shape of a cone. The heavy base is cone-shaped. The same shape is found at the other end in the lampshade. The two cones are connected by an axis. The upper part of the axis describes a perfect half-arc. The lampshade can be adjusted within a small radius using a ball joint. The lamp has a switch at the base. It is in very good condition with signs of use. The electrical system has been professionally renewed and the surface polished by a craftsman.
