Lounge chair and ottoman by Herman Miller Charles & Ray Eames, rosewood.

Herman Miller 670 lounge chair and 671 ottoman in Brazilian rosewood, designed by Ray & Charles Eames. The rosewood panels have been restored. Production of the Lounge Chair began in 1956 after several years of development. This piece left the Herman Miller factory in the United States between 1970 and 1984. The plywood panels are covered with Brazilian rosewood veneer (protected species, exploitation prohibited today). The original leather cushions are in good condition with some signs of use on the seat cushion and the ottoman. The armrests have been reupholstered in Swiss leather matching the original cushions. A very beautiful piece! Seat height +/- 38 cm.
