Magnificent pair of "Intermediate" office chairs by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller – 1960s

Magnificent pair of ES101 office chairs, also known as the "Intermediate chair, " designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in the late 1960s. This is an edition from Mobilier International, thus a French production. This model is very rare as it was only produced for 5 years between 1968 and 1974. Production was halted due to high manufacturing costs. The Intermediate chair is supposed to be a hybrid model between the Executive Desk Chair and the Time Life Chair. The pair currently for sale has been reupholstered in beautiful cognac leather, but the structure of the chairs is in its original condition and has not been altered. This pair is in very good vintage condition, with the structure showing some signs of wear related to age. Everything is visible in the photos.
