Louis XVI wooden mirror

Elegant Louis XVI period mirror in carved and gilded wood, topped with an openwork pediment featuring a bird surrounded by laurel garlands. Its finely crafted rectangular frame is adorned with decorative friezes and rosettes at the lower corners, extended by two sculpted ornaments. The gilding shows a beautiful antique patina that highlights the delicacy of the decoration. A refined piece, ideal above a console, in an entrance or a living room. Condition: signs of age and wear to the gilding. Notably: a small accident on the upper part of the laurel garland, which has been re-glued.
