Alain Richard A5 spotlight for Disderot, France circa 1960

Superb spotlight wall light, model referenced A5 by the famous designer Alain Richard, published by the French house Disderot in 1959. Spot diffuser in brushed stainless steel, articulated in all planes of space around a chrome-plated brass rod. Porcelain socket adjustable in depth in the shaft of the spotlight to adapt to all types of bulb (bulb provided). Shaft length 16 cm, diameter 5 cm. Stem length 17 cm and base diameter 8 cm. This wall light, emblematic of its time, of very high quality, is in perfect condition (no scratches and electric wire changed). All in purity, it will bring a real designer touch in a bathroom for example.
