Rare modernist table lamp A5 design by Alain Richard for Disdero

Rare in this two-light version, with a brass finish and black lacquer, this table lamp (model A5) was designed by the French designer Alain Richard and produced by the prestigious house Disderot in the 1950s. An icon of Mid-Century design, this piece is typical of the modernist style. A true signature of the designer, the last centimetres of the stem are elegantly curved. The two tubular projectors in black lacquered metal are finely perforated with characteristic longitudinal slots, ensuring a subtle diffusion of light and optimal ventilation. Fully adjustable, each spotlight can be individually set in height and rotated 360° thanks to its original tightening screws, allowing you to modulate the lighting according to your desires (direct or indirect). For authenticity, we have equipped this lamp with spot bulbs featuring silver reflectors and filaments. In very good vintage condition, with verified electrical components, authentic and warm patina. Length of the spots is 16 cm, diameter 5 cm. Height of the stem is 27 cm and diameter of the base is 12 cm.
