1980s “GE280” Corner sofa by Hans J. Wegner for Getama, Denmark

A lovely corner sofa designed by Hans J. Wegner, manufactured by Getama in Denmark around 1980. This sofa features a beautiful quality oak wooden base. It has light purple fabric cushions to the seats and backs, nicely complimenting the light frame and giving the piece a soft and inviting appeal. The sofa can be adjusted in position because it has three seperate elements! The cushions are nice and comfortable, combined with the deep seat and slightly tilted backrest this all adds nicely to the seating comfort. Combined with the modern design of this sofa makes it a versatile piece that can blend seamlessly with a range of decor styles! labeled on the frame as shown in photos. This sofa remains in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
