Charlotte Perriand, Les Arcs bench around 1973

This example of a sofa bed once formed part of the furnishings of the famous Nova Residence in Les Arcs, a creation by the talented Charlotte Perriand. The structure of this piece of furniture, made with carefully arranged pine slats, conceals two cleverly hidden rolling drawers accessible via a discreet flap. The seat mattress and foam cushions are dressed in elegant blue wool from the Nobilis house. The sofa easily transforms into a bed measuring 190 cm by 80 cm, providing an ideal resting space.
