Small Louis XV style telephone secretary in solid cherry wood.

Small Louis XV style telephone secretary in solid cherry wood, featuring four drawers and a drop-down front with an interior theater, probably dating from the mid-20th century. Made from warm wood with elegant curved moldings and enhanced with chiselled bronze handles, it combines the timeless charm of classic cabinetry with a particularly clever compact format. Its reduced proportions and shallow depth make it an ideal accent piece for structuring an entryway, creating a small office corner in a living room, or optimizing a tight space. Condition: The furniture is healthy, stable, and perfectly functional, with the four drawers sliding easily and the drop-down front opening smoothly. The surface shows a homogeneous and warm patina of use, including very light superficial micro-scratches and a few discreet markings consistent with the passage of time. These tiny traces of life testify to its authenticity and do not detract from the solidity or elegance of this character piece.
