Lady's desk in Louis XV style, also known as a cylinder desk (or curved drop-front desk). Curved legs (called "goose legs"), its lower belt is sinuous and carved with floral motifs typical of the rococo / Louis XV style. The curved part opens to reveal a work surface (here equipped with a brown leather or faux leather writing pad) and small secret interior drawers, topped with a row of two upper drawers. No key.
