"Henry 2" side table

Antique furniture dating from the late 19th century "Henri II" in the form of a French "nightstand". The vertical piece is topped with a marble surface and flanked by rectangular floral motifs and fluted, tapered half-columns at the ends on the front face. The second and third drawers are grouped into a door whose front mimics that of two drawers, opening to reveal a compartment lined with white marble. Three drawers complete the lower part of the piece, with the last differing in design. The veneered surfaces display the fine grains and characteristic colour of the hardwoods of the period, while the carved solid wood elements match the walnut (species to be confirmed). Dimensions: 44 X 40 X 93 cm in height. Good used condition with some signs of wear from time. The photos complement this description.
