The front features a sober and balanced line, typical of French furniture from the Louis-Philippe period. The lift-up top opens to reveal a functional interior including an integrated mirror and a clear surface intended for toiletry use. This type of furniture was traditionally used in bedrooms or toilet cabinets before the widespread adoption of modern bathrooms. The lower part opens to four front drawers, made of solid wood, with their original lock entries. Beautiful quality of cabinetmaking, harmonious proportions, and a warm patina of walnut.
