Covered sugar bowl in celadon ceramic – modernist lines

Covered sugar bowl in glazed ceramic in a very soft celadon green with slightly cloudy nuances. The conical silhouette of the body, the geometric handles, and the octagonal knob of the lid give it a very modernist line, almost architectural, reminiscent of certain French productions from the 1930s to the 1950s. The glaze features a beautiful network of fine, natural crackles, with subtle variations between water green, pale celadon, and bluish grey depending on the light. The fully glazed interior maintains a lovely visual freshness. This is a workshop piece or a small production of modernist utilitarian ceramics from the mid-20th century, unsigned and without provenance. In beautiful vintage condition, with a few discreet signs of age and small firing irregularities (see photos). Diameter 11 cm, width from handle to handle 14.5 cm, height without lid 8 cm, height with lid 11.5 cm. A simple and graphic piece whose powdered celadon immediately brings softness and relief.
