A covered ceramic fondue pot with a wonderful speckled glaze in shades of gray, black, and chocolate, and a lovely, gently rounded shape. It's a truly beautiful piece of craftsmanship, both in the throwing and the glazing. It's the work of Chantal and Thierry Robert, who worked in their workshop, "Les Grès du Loir," in Poncé-sur-Loire, from 1973 onwards. Personally, this is my favorite glaze from Atch! Their signature or monogram evolved over time, eventually becoming the stamped Atch (for Atelier de Thierry et Chantal). On this particular pot, the signature is still handwritten but already includes the A for Atch, as well as the C for Chantal, the T for Thierry, and the h common to both first names. It's therefore likely a ceramic piece dating from the second half of the 1970s. This ceramic is in excellent condition, especially on the exterior, which has no cracks or chips. However, the fondue pot has a small chip and tiny nicks on the inner rim, which are not at all noticeable as they are invisible when the lid is on and barely visible even without the lid. The fondue pot measures 19 cm in length including the handle, approximately 13.5 cm in diameter, and 7 cm in height; the lid measures 15 cm in diameter and 6.5 cm in height.
