If you are a fan of Vallauris ceramics from the 50s to the 70s, then you will love this coffee table designed by one of its most famous spearheads: Roger Capron. This model, commonly called "herbarium", takes its name from the glazed stoneware tiles that bear the imprint of leaves and plants typical of the Provençal scrubland that Roger Capron immortalized using a technique reproducing the principle of fossilization. Each tile is therefore unique, just like each of the tables that make up this collection dating from the late 60s/early 70s. The details of the tiles decorated with these imprints are impressively realistic: admire the reliefs created by the veins and petioles of the different specimens. Add to this living tableau a minimalist, rounded structure made of stained solid beech and plywood, and you get a piece of furniture with a design that is as attractive as it is timeless. The little detail that makes it even more desirable? Its low height allows this table to adapt to contemporary living rooms composed of seats close to the ground and soft poufs. The table is in very good general condition and has a magnificent patina. It is robust and very stable thanks to its 20 kilos. Very solid, it will withstand all the tests of time without flinching! Signed R.CAPRON on one of the tiles.
