Auvergne brutalist folk art furniture 1890

Very old and atypical piece of furniture from auvergne in the brutalist or folk art style. Entirely in solid oak, composed of two bodies, the lower part and the upper part, this piece of furniture is absolutely exceptional in its work. Entirely carved with very elegant patterns and details typical of the folk art of the time. We find many rounded graphic patterns, flowers, stars, initials, and many very unique signs. We love the curved shapes that surround the piece of furniture and draw very atypical shapes to the whole. Each part is delicately carved or engraved, the sides are paneled, two large drawers disappearing into the whole are present. No handle is present, but it would be possible to install some in order to facilitate access to them. The stars are nicely painted in gold, bringing a certain charm to this piece of furniture. Small "flowery" details embellish the top of the piece of furniture. Please note that this piece of furniture is very old, and may have defects in the wood, a patina, small marks (especially on the top of the bottom shelf), some traces of wormholes in places. The piece of furniture is very heavy, due to the type of wood and the structure of the piece of furniture itself which is very thick, cut into the wood. The bottom is therefore composed of two high drawers, two shelves opening onto a double hinged door, the lock is not functional, but the door wedges correctly. A cleat on the left door allows the door to be securely fixed to the shelf. Please note, there is a small gap on the bottom of the piece of furniture, a small piece of shelf is missing on the left at the bottom. Not disturbing. The top is composed of two doors left and right with lock and key. The middle door has new hinges reattached in the past and the previous owner had added a padlock to secure the whole thing, it would be possible to remove it obviously, the door locks correctly without closing the latter.
