An important guillotine secretary in precious wood veneer from the Louis XV period, French work from the 18th century. This very elegant piece of furniture features a undulating front adorned with a remarkable geometric veneer decoration in butterfly wings and shaped reserves. The upper part opens with two grilled doors revealing a storage space. The central section with a drop-down front unveils a beautiful interior layout composed of compartments, shelves, and small drawers. The lower part opens with two doors revealing additional storage space. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes such as feet, lock entries, and drops.
