Flat plates made of faience from the Longchamp factory, hand-painted. Polychrome decoration on a cracked white background: a basket of blue flowers topped with a yellow and blue exotic bird, flowering branches at the edge, green and yellow borders on a scalloped rim — a naive and colourful composition in the great tradition of French faience. Each piece being hand-painted, the two plates exhibit slight variations that make them unique items. Diameter: 25.5 cm. Condition: excellent — vibrant and intact decoration, no chips or cracks. Careful and protected delivery, or free collection in Paris and Lyon.
