A trio of decorative earthenware plates featuring a rooster motif, bringing together three complementary interpretations from productions in the East of France. One white earthenware plate with a scalloped edge, decorated with a blue rooster in a floral basket, stamped KG Lunéville, a recent production in the regional tradition. Two fine earthenware plates with polychrome painted decoration, one featuring a stylised rooster in a basket with violet and green tones, the other with a rooster in a medallion surrounded by garlands, attributable to productions from Lunéville or Saint-Clément in the 20th century. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of use consistent with their age, minor glazing defects mainly on the edge of the medallion rooster plate (see photos). Diameters are 21 cm and two at 22.5 cm each. A perfect trio for an expressive and lively table, balancing revisited tradition and a controlled play of patterns.
