Baca series earthenware cup by Johanne Gerber for Aluminia

Faience bowl from the Baca series by Johanne Gerber for Aluminia, a series created from 1964 by Nils Thorsson, with the ceramicists Johanne Gerber and Ellen Malmer. It is marked on the base "799" for the decoration created by Johanne Gerber, "3220" for the shape created in 1963 by Nils Thorsson, and the signature of Johanne Gerber inscribed in a ring, the word "baca" meaning in Latin "small round berry". A small cross under the "R" of Denmark indicates that it was produced in 1968.
