Openwork basket Malicorne earthenware

Very beautiful white pierced earthenware bowl from Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, made and painted by hand by the Atelier of Jacqueline and Paul Frenehard (JPF). On the back, the signature JPF Jacqueline and Paul Frenehard authenticates this magnificent bowl (3rd and 4th quarter of the 20th century). Pompadour pink decoration with fine floral motifs in the form of a garland on the inside and outside. Piercing and decoration entirely done by hand. The pierced side of the white earthenware gives a very airy effect. Its measurements are 31cm in diameter and 10.5cm in height. The shape and the designs of the small flowers with their leaves confirm the charm and elegance of the Faïenceries d’Art de Malicorne.
