Tulip Chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll

Swivel chair model Tulip designed by Eero Saarinen and produced by Knoll in the 1970s. Its white moulded shell rests on the famous trumpet base that frees up floor space. The seat is upholstered with a newly made cushion by a professional upholsterer, in powder pink velvet. Swivel and comfortable, it fits well around a table, behind a desk, or as an extra chair. In good vintage condition: some signs of wear on the shell and base (see photos), including a chip on the upper edge of the shell. No stamp under the base; the chair comes with its original invoice serving as a certificate of authenticity. L. 49 X D. 46 X H. 79 cm. Seat height: 46 cm.
