Tulip Chairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll

Pair of Tulip chairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, 1970s. The iconic swivel chair designed by Eero Saarinen: a sculptural white shell resting on its trumpet base, freeing the floor from the "mess of legs." The cushion has been completely refurbished by a professional upholsterer, in intense red upholstery velvet. They are comfortable, elegant, and swivel: perfect around a dining table, as office chairs, or as extra seating. Signed under the base. Condition: very good vintage condition, the shells and bases show visible signs of wear as seen in the photos. Dimensions: W. 49 x D. 46 x H. 79 cm. REF CH2559/2
