Authentic Børge Mogensen chaise longue (Model 50) with footrest – Danish M

Iconic mid-century modern chaise longue with matching folding footrest, designed by the renowned Danish furniture architect Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik in the 1950s (Model 50). This specific set is a rare edition made of mahogany. The wood features a deep, exclusive reddish glow that beautifully contrasts with the original light canvas seat. The set is fully complete and includes the original well-preserved segmented cushions, as well as the neck support/headrest. The chair and footrest are in excellent vintage condition with a lovely natural patina that reflects superior craftsmanship and careful use over the decades. The folding mechanism works perfectly, and all wooden joints are solid and intact. A fantastic and rare collector's piece that will add authentic Scandinavian elegance and comfort to any interior. There is a red mark on the footrest.
