Louis XV rockwork secretary in solid wood.
Louis XV style secretary and rocaille from the second half of the 20th century, produced by the brand Maisons du Monde, featuring a drop-down front and two lower doors with sculpted panels. Made of solid wood with warm tones, it showcases characteristic curved moldings and meticulous rococo ornamentation. Its compact proportions and shallow depth make it an elegant and functional office piece, ideal for structuring a living room or creating a refined office corner in a bedroom. Condition: The furniture is healthy, stable, and functional, with the drop-down front and doors opening and closing properly. The structure shows a uniform patina of use, marked by some superficial micro-scratches, slight traces on the drop-down front, and the initial absence of the marble top and original key. These few signs of time do not detract from the classic charm and overall sturdiness of this secretary.
