Set of 6 hand-painted ceramic plates – Modernist style

Superb set of six vintage ceramic plates, entirely hand-painted and each bearing a workshop signature. Each piece features a stylized bird in vibrant colors (blue, red, green, orange) on a speckled gray background, very characteristic of Mediterranean modernist ceramics from the 1960s and 70s. The expressive and dynamic pictorial work is reminiscent of Italian artisanal production or the Vallauris style, with particular attention paid to detail and composition. This type of decorative series is rare to find as a complete set, even more so in this condition.
