Bernard Buffat - table service - six generous plates.

Bernard BUFFAT – Unique service of six large plates, also unique pieces. Six plates, six birds, six unique pieces. Proud rooster, dreamy bird, hen and her egg: each tells its own story in a flowered courtyard, outlined in white on green-gray, ochre, and sienna glazes. The material is vibrant, speckled, almost mineral. The gesture is free, poetic, immediately recognizable. Together, they compose a narrative that the isolated pieces do not tell. Generous and majestic, these 29 cm diameter plates have no twin, even within the service. On the back, the artist's monogram and the mention "Unique Piece" attest to this. To be hung in a polyptych for a spectacular wall composition, or to be placed on a sideboard, a mantelpiece, or a collector's table. A complete set of six pieces signed by Bernard BUFFAT (La Grange aux Potiers (Drôme provençale)). Gathering such a service takes years of "hunting"...! A plate by Bernard BUFFAT is rarely found, and almost always alone. A service of six, never. It will not present itself twice. SERVICE HAND DELIVERED ONLY IN THE GULF OF SAINT-TROPEZ AREA.
