Tripod gueridon in wrought iron with brass decorations and alabaster top - 1950s

Wrought iron guéridon from the 1950s. Three volute legs ending in golden claw motifs. Round alabaster top surrounded by volute ornaments. The legs of the guéridon are shaped like a bird's foot or claw, typical of classic furniture such as the Chippendale style: a realistic representation of a bird of prey's claw grasping a sphere.
