Restored leather tufted Chesterfield sofa pair Harrods London

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent pair of vintage burgundy leather Chesterfield sofas, Harrods London Pegasus. A very aesthetic, well-designed, and decorative pair of fully restored two-seater leather sofas. These sofas were made by Pegasus and sold by Harrods in the 70s and 80s, crafted to high standards with a beautiful Regency club look. They have been fully restored, including a light stripping of the old colour, followed by a manual dyeing in this sublime rich burgundy brown. Sofa dimensions: height 83.5 cm, width 135.5 cm, depth 90 cm, seat height 48.5 cm (measurements taken at the widest point). Note that vintage period items like leather seating always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear; annual polishing is recommended to prevent moisture loss. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it may dry out and discolour.
