Small Desk with Drawers in Mahogany, 19th Century

Elegant 19th-century English mahogany pedestal desk Very beautiful pedestal desk that has been worked on both sides, allowing it to be placed in the middle of a room or against a wall. The desk consists of three drawers in the waist and two pedestals with three drawers each. Very fine moulding work on the drawers. Height below the waist is 65cm, which allows for comfortable seating (often too low). The top is covered with green leather featuring a Directoire decoration with a golden roulette. It is its original leather, which has a lovely patina.
