Antique Chinese porcelain box

Charming little antique Chinese glazed porcelain box, lobed in shape reminiscent of a lotus flower or pumpkin, circa 1960-70. It is decorated with stylized floral motifs painted in underglaze blue, enhanced with touches of pink. The matching lid is adorned with a small bud handle and a pink flower. The "中国制造 / Made in China" mark indicates production intended for export, typical of Chinese porcelain from the second half of the 20th century. Impeccable condition, no cracks or chips.
