Pair of Scandinavian armchairs "PJ56" with high back by Grete Jalk for Poul Jeppesen

Pair of Scandinavian teak chairs "PJ 56" with high back designed by Grete Jalk and edited by Poul Jeppesen in the 60s. This high-backed model is rarer than the low-backed one and bears the designer's stamps and the Danish supply makers control under the seat. The teak structure is in good condition. Only small finishing buttons is missing on the top of the back of an armchair but does not interfere in any aesthetics. The cushions are completely refurbished with a high-density bultex foam and a nice quality fabric. Seat height 40 cm.
