Old pair of gilded bronze lamps – Louis XIV style

A very beautiful pair of lamps made from two antique candlesticks in gilded bronze. Their remarkable tripod base, adorned with curled volutes, extends into a richly moulded shaft leading to the cup and its sculpted decoration. A highly architectural silhouette, in a baroque / Louis XIV vocabulary, particularly decorative. The two pieces have been electrified and retain all the character of their original function. A unique pair, with a strong decorative presence to consider on a console, a chest of drawers, a sideboard... Some traces and irregularities related to their age.
