Pair of tripod candlesticks by Paul-Auguste Gagné (19th century)

Pair of gilt bronze tripod table candlesticks signed Paul-Auguste Gagné (19th century). Zoomorphic and phytomorphic decorations of leaves, snails, flowers, and deer hoof feet. France, second half of the 19th century. Height: 27.5 cm. Stem diameter: 3 cm. Base diameter: 11.5 cm. Slight crack on one of the inner legs, visible but not moving and does not weaken the base; see photo. Very good overall condition, with some small verdigris in places. Sold as is, unrestored or cleaned.
