✨️ This magnificent 1970s table is a true piece of interior architecture. Its design plays on a striking contrast between geometric rigor and the softness of subtly placed curves, a direct homage to the finest hours of the Art Deco period. ✨️ The vertical supports: Massive and reassuring, they do not adopt a classic rectangular shape but rather wide oblong sections, almost oval. This absence of sharp angles softens their presence and captures light progressively, highlighting the glossy finish. ✨️ The central stretcher: It connects the two large spans with a low, straight line, rhythmically interrupted in the centre by a double wooden bolster. This horizontal detail grounds the structure and balances the verticality of the legs. ✨️ The contrasting feet: At the base of each support, light wood feet, slightly protruding and with softened angles, create an elegant visual break. They give the impression that the table is delicately placed on the ground, breaking the visual heaviness of its massive structure. ✨️ The bevelled band: Beneath the main tabletop, the dark wood band integrates the drawers almost invisibly. Its ends are finished with superbly moulded curves, echoing the curves of the legs and accommodating the handles of the drawers integrated into the mass. #ArtDecoTable #ArtDecoFurniture #ArtDecoStyle #1970sDesign #70sFurniture #70sFurniture.
