Art Deco dining table 1940 Hoffman

Vintage dining table from the 1940s in Art Deco style, reminiscent of the work of Josef Hoffman or Francisque Chasselin. We love the solid base with its moulded details and the spherical motifs on which the base rests. The entire piece is made of blackened oak. The top is veneered with a checkerboard pattern. It features a sliding system at one end to accommodate two extensions, which are included. The extensions have some defects in the wood in places - it would be possible to have them restored by a cabinetmaker if needed. The patina of use has been preserved, giving the whole piece an authentic and unique character. There are defects and small marks in the wood due to its age. Overhang of the top 20 cm. Length of the extensions - 50 cm.
