Rare pair of small decorative bowls or catchalls in Longwy earthenware, entirely hand-decorated in the "Autumn" pattern. The stylised foliage in deep black, tobacco brown, saffron yellow, and pearl grey stands out against an ivory background, typical of the decorative productions of the factory in the 1950s-60s. The very free and graphic design, almost Japonese, gives these pieces a true decorative presence despite their compact size. The fine black border hand-painted further highlights their modernist aesthetic. Stamped Longwy. This "Autumn" decor belongs to a more confidential production that is very representative of post-war French decorative taste. In good vintage condition with discreet signs of age, wear to the rim, small irregularities in the glazing related to manufacturing, and a small chip on the edge of one of the pieces (see photos). Diameter 13 cm, thickness 1 cm. A duo in very contemporary tobacco and saffron tones.
